Introducing Copaken Brooks Private Capital for Acquisition Investment

Copaken Brooks Private Capital, LLC (“CBPC”) is a newly developed real estate platform that will capitalize on the commercial real estate expertise of Copaken Brooks, a Kansas City based real estate company with a 90-year history of investing, developing, leasing, and managing real estate throughout the United States.

Our goal is to target well-located properties primarily with an in-place income stream and an opportunity to produce appreciation over an investment’s hold period by employing the following strategies, among others:
  • Increasing net operating income
  • Redevelopment
  • Recapitalizing or repositioning broken developments
  • Investing in recovering markets
  • Buying below replacement cost
The geographic scope of CBPC is the Central United States, or “Mid-States” region, north to south from Minnesota to Texas and east to west from Missouri to Colorado.

The preferred individual or portfolio deal size is $10 million to $30 million invested in the following property types:
  • Single or portfolio NNN properties
  • Office Buildings, including office/flex and medical office
  • Grocery anchored or shadow anchored retail centers
  • Light industrial parks
  • Multi-family apartment complexes
CBPC will consider core, value add, and opportunistic acquisitions.

Who We Are

Copaken Brooks is comprised of active real estate experts and operators who specialize in investing and owning real estate, rather than “fund raisers” who are inexperienced in real property investment. We are Kansas City based with a national brokerage network that puts a special emphasis on transactions in the Central United States.

We know our markets, we know them well, and we have intimate knowledge of where the transactions are. We have relationships within our targeted markets to provide a competitive advantage when procuring new acquisitions, and we will co-invest additional money alongside our investment partners in order to ensure that goals and objectives are aligned.

Copaken Brooks has successfully developed over 11 million square feet of commercial real estate and created investment funds that maintain over $200 million of properties.
