When it comes to real estate, Molly Crawford is every client’s dream. Her knowledge of Kansas City, coupled with her persistence, make her perfect for her role as both a tenant and owner’s representative.
The KC native is an avid sports fan – having played Division 1 college lacrosse at The University of California at Berkeley, and as the head lacrosse coach at Notre Dame de Sion high school in Kansas City. What many may not know is that she also enjoys riding horses, hunting pheasant and turkey, trapshooting, and playing with her dogs. It’s these activities that showcase her tenacity for hunting down the perfect space for a tenant client, or finding the perfect tenant for an owner.
“My four years playing collegiate lacrosse have shaped my work ethic,” said Molly. “I had three full ankle reconstructions that were major setbacks for my lacrosse career. Each time I had to work hard to get back to my starting position. There were a lot of ups and downs during those four years – I had to keep working hard and be relentless. In this business it’s all about being relentless.”
After college, Molly knew she wanted a role where she could work with people on a daily basis. She thrives on helping her clients find solutions to their needs, and the variety that each day brings in commercial real estate. Two clients she really enjoyed working with were KIPP Endeavor Academy and Crossroads Academy – both urban charter schools that were ready to invest in their own buildings in Kansas City.
“The purpose is to help clients achieve their ultimate goals and be happy with the end result and overall process,” said Molly. “I believe we achieved that with both schools, and it’s great to see the kids adding vibrancy to the urban core knowing I helped them get there.”
One of the advantages of working with Copaken Brooks is our associates’ knowledge of Kansas City. The company has been active in the real estate community for 95 years, and continues to be a pivotal player in the ongoing growth of the metro area.
“We all have a good grasp of the KC market,” said Molly. “I believe it’s what helps us find the best deals possible for our clients.”
