Downtown Council honors Town Pavilion for art-focused upgrades, commitment to downtown KC

Copaken Brooks was honored by the Downtown Council at the Downtown KC Office Summit for our latest upgrades to Town Pavilion and continued commitment to the downtown area. The company was one of four downtown office building owners awarded for their reinvestment to renovate, modernize and improve their buildings.

Originally opening in 1986 as a regional headquarters for AT&T, a civic mall and food court – the 34-story Town Pavilion skyscraper is now the city’s largest multitenant office building. Throughout 2020 and 2021, the building’s lobby and common areas received dramatic improvements creating a high-end modernized oasis designed around community and connectivity. Future-focused upgrades empowered the addition of a concierge center, retail storefront improvements, plus the installation of art-driven video walls providing an art experience alongside ArtsKC’s rotating art display. The undeniable energy of Town Pavilion’s location in combination with the project’s world-class modernization effort delivers a one-of-a-kind tenant experience.

The company is excited to offer these renovated spaces in Town Pavilion alongside office and retail leasing opportunities in the heart of downtown KC!

A special thank you to Jon Copaken, Jon Ng, Eric Wyancko, Joni Cross, Stephanie Burkett, and Mike Welsh who were involved in the renovations project.
