Lenexa, Kansas – Cactus Grill, a beloved Kansas City staple known for its bold Southwest flavors and vibrant atmosphere, is officially open at Lenexa City Center following a successful ribbon-cutting ceremony on February 25th. The event was attended by Lenexa city officials, council members, construction teams, community members, and fellow City Center tenants, marking an exciting milestone for the growing Restaurant Row district.

During the ceremony, Mayor Julie Sayers, Cactus Grill owner Ed Gieselman, and Erin Johnston, landlord representative for Copaken Brooks, officially welcomed the restaurant to the Lenexa community. Mayor Sayers highlighted the ongoing growth of Lenexa City Center, emphasizing its rise as a premier hub for dining, shopping, and entertainment—especially as the region prepares to welcome visitors from around the world for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Kansas City.

Cactus Grill’s new location features its signature house-made salsas, sizzling fajitas, and legendary espinaca dip, as well as a spacious bar and patio, perfect for social gatherings.
