BIOGRAPHY
Elliott Stauffer joined Copaken Brooks in 2024 as a Financial Analyst, where he plays a crucial role in evaluating and executing commercial real estate investments for both acquisitions and development. Elliott collaborates closely with leaders in Acquisitions & Sales, Development, and Asset Management to assess and underwrite new projects. His responsibilities include analyzing investment opportunities, preparing TIF and CID applications, coordinating due diligence efforts, and communicating project details to prospects, investors, and lenders. Elliott’s analytical expertise enables him to deliver high-level financial insights that support Copaken Brooks’ strategic objectives.
Before joining Copaken Brooks, Elliott built a strong foundation in commercial real estate through his role as an Associate Broker for Retail Capital Markets at Colliers International. In this role, he modeled cash flows and valuations and managed marketing exposure for active listings across various platforms. His brokerage experience allowed him to integrate financial and market data into comprehensive offering memoranda, ensuring clear and effective presentations for investors.
Elliott’s experience also includes his work as a Junior Analyst at Aspen Funds, where he specialized in underwriting and due diligence for investment properties across the Midwest. His role involved tracking and reporting key financial metrics that informed strategic decision making for property management.
A graduate of The University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Elliott is currently pursuing the CCIM designation, participating in Kansas City’s CRE community through networking and professional development.
